Center of Gravity - Card installation
6”x 4” Cards, 2022, Maho Ogawa
This is a choreography in the form of text instruction written on the card format, displayed facing four different directions on the pedestal to be enacted by multiple bodies.
Each card has different movement instructions from the Minimum Movement Catalog: Center of Gravity.
The movement instructions are enacted by viewers alone or with other people in space, in their minds or on bodies. Also, this work can be presented as a performance with audience participation as a community ritual.
